At the beginning of this week’s performance, I thought he was going to crash, but he pulled it off. I’m not going to diss him because he looks like a male Bratz doll (and he does). Dude’s done better every week, and he’s earned the positive comments. ---

Good lord, what’s with the audience being such a bevy of seals that they cheer and hoot even if someone gives a half-assed mild compliment like “I thought you sucked a little bit less than Randy did.” And WTF, what’s so hard to comprehend about “soundalike”? I mean, it’s not one of those five dollar words like “minx.” ---

“I thought he was callin’ me a coat!” Agreed that the hooting and booing over any semi-negative comment is horribly annoying, but the sheep are coaxed into it pre-show, from what I’ve heard. And it’s taken on a life of its own over the seasons. ---

I should’ve made that two seperate posts, because I agree that the way he looks has nothing to do with his talent. And yes, he is talented. I just always get the feeling that he’s playing a role. Also, my second comment was mostly aimed at the judges. ---

Is it a reality show? What’s the premise? It looks like a variety show? Here’s Gokey smugging up the stage. “Jesus Take the Wheel.” He would pick this song. What a tool. They’re pulling out all the stops with the background vocals too. What a douche. ---
