Amanda: Back in the USSR I’m so disappointed in her, she’s been the Great Punk Hope and I always adore them and they always get voted off early on and she’s not getting voted off but she’s not entertaining me either. I’m entirely meh on her performance. ---

Oh, Kristy Lee. You picked “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away” basically from the the title…because you’d never heard it… Damn, people. It’s not that much of an obscure one! Hell, didn’t some grungy band even do it? Pearl Jam, maybe? I would have pegged this for David Cook. Ouch, she’s not hitting the notes either. ---

Kristy: You’ve got to hide your love away This arrangement is way too low for her, I wonder if they did that because it’s got a fairly wide range and they were worried about her high notes. Whatever the reason, she’s showing a great example of the “listen to the songs before you choose one!” I mean, dayum, even if you’ve lived under a rock and never heard the Beatles, give a listen to a dozen or so and find one that you can sing. ---
