I’m so glad she dressed up for this momentous occasion. God. Eleventy million people are watching you, Pickler! Would it have killed you to wear something that looks like it _didn’t_ come from Wal-Mart? This sort of dim country blonde act is much cuter when Dolly Parton does it. Why couldn’t she have ruined a Loretta Lynn song? Hell, she sucked all by herself, didn’t even have to compare her to Patsy. I wonder if playing the original about 50 times will get Pickler out of my head. ---

I thought Kellie totally ignored Manilow’s advice and did _not_ make that song sound like heartbreak in any way, shape, or form. That’s why I did not like her performance. But, hell, everyone else seems to have thought it was great, so what do I know. ---

I just don’t tire of Kellie thinking Simon said “mink.” That’s gold. Gold, Jerry, gold! Anyway, she did OK, but what the hell… Barry doesn’t know the song, she barely knows what era it is. It’s only one of the greatest songs of the 20th Century. ---
