Shyesha has been the most consistent of all the performers. She’s just so. . . blah. But that was a great rendition of the song. When was that song made? They must be basing it on a cover version. Also, could someone slap Randy the next time he says “for me for you.”? Thanks in advance. ---

It’s a beautiful song. Our church choir (UU of course) did a rendition of it the Sunday after 9-11 and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. ---

I notice Archuleta’s lip-licking constantly, as well as his gasping breathing. He has a great voice, but his vocal and stage mannerisms are really distracting and annoying. ---

[/QUOTE] Not really. I was aware of the song from having the album, but I don’t think it was on the charts. I don’t know why they said he didn’t do anything with it. He sped it up a little and put some Spanish lyrics in it. I enjoyed it, but it would have been better if he kept it slow. He’s still smiling a little too much and it didn’t fit the song at all. Does he listen to the lyrics he’s singing? ---

[/QUOTE] My knickname for him is Lizard Boy and I always count how many times he does it during his performances. He’s brought it down a lot since the beginning. From a high of about 11 to only 4 last time. The slow motion increases the creepiness by a thousandfold. ---

I still hate Snow White. This is kind of a gutless song to choose. It’s easy to sing, no real range. She always picks really safe, easy songs and never gets called on it. Bland, insipid, non-threatening, unmemorable, blonde. Meet your next American Idol. ---
