I loved Lee’s performance, maybe my favorite of the season. I know I am engaging in Idol cliches, but that was a completely current version of a song that would have been unbearable sung as a karaoke imitation. Then again I thought the only problem with his version of Hey Jude was that he only had one bagpiper. I would have hired ten of them to come marching down the stage. ---

For the second time this season I was listening to Aaron perform while I was in the shower and the times I didn’t watch were the times he sounded best to me. I thought his voice had more authentic sounding blues grit than Casey, the “bluesy guy”, has shown lately. Lee sounded great too. ---

Casey is best of th night two weeks in a row. Best that I saw, anyway. I missed Lee. What did he do?
