Gokey’s kind of pitchy. Still douchy, though. This dude never stops being impressed with himself. does he? That was actually pretty crap, but the judges are lying their asses off to sell it. ---

Why why do the judges lie about that Danny guy??? (had to watch tonight with my daughter. ugh. the only good thing is the picture of David Cook at the beginning.) ---

Allison seems off tonight. She doesn’t have her usual power in her voice – a little better towards the end, but kind of lackluster in the chorus there. I wonder if she has a cold or something. ---

I wanted Allison to really hammer it tonight. I don’t think she did. Her limitations are becoming more apparent to me. I really want her to do well though. ---

Catching up. Good solid performance by Kris. And I got a middle finger scratch from Simon while Kara was critiquing Kris. Danny…myeh. He can’t leave soon enough for me. The judges are so pimping for him. I just don’t see (or hear) it. ---

Adam is clearly in a league of his own here but I don’t think I’d buy his album. ---

I never would have thought that song could be done as a ballad. The arrangement worked, and his execution was flawless. Awesome. I like that he gives credit to the arranger too. ---

Allison seems to be singing flat. Too bad. Liked her outfit, she looked like a leather-clad mermaid on the stairs at the beginning of the song. Got an “over-indulgent” from Randy. Getting close to a “Bingo” ---

I guess somebody had to do this song. Matt’s not exactly separating himself from the Timberlake comparisons with that hat. I think he kind of shouted the song. He wasn’t very melodic. He’s probably one of the two that will be gone tomorrow. ---

I think this was Adam’s worst performance thus far. Those high notes were really screechy. A Pool Addul? ---

The thing I notice about Adam is that his voice doesn’t go anywhere that he doesn’t want it to. He has incredible range, but especially control. ---
