Liked that Taylor sang Country Roads, as I’m a WV girl, but boy was it boring. What on earth was Mandisa wearing?? Oh my it made her look twice as big as normal. Those stripes and those jeans! And Shania? Elliott was great, IMO. I liked that he didn’t sing it just like Garth Brooks. The best in the first 4 performers. Paris was straining. I like this song, but I thought she didn’t do well. Simon’s judging is cracking me up. (and I kinda like Seacrest’s beard) ---

Did Simon really mean that or did he just want to make Paula feel like a dick? I thought Paula was actually right. It seemed like Paris was struggling and she didn’t have her usual energy. She didn’t suck but I think this just isn’t her genre. Ace is hurting my ears. ---

It must really sound different in the studio. That falsetto was horrible. And he was making those ghastly faces again. ---

That’s the best Ace has done so far, IMO. Until the falsetto anyway. ---

I actually got to see the end of Taylor’s performance. I like that song and sing it all the time real loud. It annoys my family. Can’t say I especially liked what I saw of Taylor. Didn’t really like any one else, either. They all sound off and uninspired to me. I guess it’s up to The Pickler to turn me on to country. ---

Good job by Kelly… though I guess if she stunk it up tonight, it’d be kinda strange. Though it is fun seeing someone so naive sing a song about a prostitute :D. ---

Really? Damn, I miss that song by Kelly… Good call from Simon… Although it was a good interpretation. The contestants know it, they’re being forced to pick songs they don’t really care for, therefore they are being safe. ---
