I think Connie is savvy enough to have figured out pretty quickly that he was getting totally pwn3d by Bo in the “rocker” category and just decided to drop the pose and be the musical theater guy he really is. ---

Am I the only one who thought Carrie was just “meh”? Simon is right: that song _is_ mind-numbingly boring. God, she is so Stepford, and I think I am starting to hate her. Vonzell? ROCKED. ---

“Climb Ev’ry Mountain” is much better when Eric Idle sings it in the Monty Python “Election Results” sketch. Gaah - Anthony makes me want to hurl. High note was OUCH! ---

Paula’s stoned, first she told Vonzell “You sang that higher than Whitney!” a few weeks ago, and now she’s telling her “Even Babs can’t hit that note!” Oh, really? She of the famous 4+octave range, hmm Paula? :rolleyes: Smirky was totally in his element, I love Randy’s switch from “We gots rockers!” to “I never really bought you in the ‘rock’ thing dawg, this is you” instead. Sucks that Carrie delivers a flawless performance and gets less props than Scott’s out of tune one, really bad song selection for her. Okay, I love Sound of Music, but couldn’t help thinking AFed looked like one of the Nazis! :smack: ---

Not a song I would have expected from Nikko. Color me impressed. He gets a vote from me for that alone. Wish the soloist would have had this arrangement when she sang this song at my wedding. ---
