This season is such a damn train wreck … although I am leading in an online pool (not sure how), it’s anyone’s guess who gets voted off. While _I’d_ like to think TUrban finally goes, who the hell knows? Those tweenies can text their asses off. (Of course, who am I to speak? I bought an AT&T GO phone for the express and only purpose of texting for David Cook. That last night of the show, I had the phone going, texting (after learning the secrets that some Archie fans put out about how to send a bunch of messages at a time) and used the computer to call in votes. I must have looked like a mad woman. It’s the only time I’ve ever done that (or will ever do that) for anyone.) ---

MJs doesn’t, and I expect if anyone else did MJ would post them, too. It’s hard to go wrong with John/Paul songs, but I hope nobody does “Let it Be,” and especially hope Crystal doesn’t. I am sure somebody will, of course… and fall far shy of Jennifer Hudson’s recent performance of it on the surprisingly watchable Music for Haiti thing. ---

I’d like to see somebody do “We Can Work It Out,” or “I’m Looking Through You,” or “I’ve Just Seen a Face,” or “And Your Bird Can Sing,” or “'Til There Was You” or “Across the Universe” or… “Tomorrow Never Knows,” if anyone really has balls. So many great songs that are not “Let it Be” and “Blackbird” and “Yesterday” and the other dozen also great but done-to-death songs. ---

Forget it, Jake. It’s Idoltown. They’re going to do “And I love her,” and “hey Jude,” and “here There and Everwhere.” It would be cool to see Siobahn do “Helter Skelter,” though. ---

There are some songs that Casey could rock on an electric guitar – “Revolution,” for instance, or “Happiness is a Warm Gun” (actually, the latter would be another cool choice for Siobahn as well). ---

Since I like trying to figure out songs for people, here’s my choices for everyone: TUrban - I’ll Keep You Satisfied Big Mike - In My Life Katey Stevens - From Me To You Siobhan - Love Me Do Crystal - We Can Work it Out Andrew - Drive My Car Aaron Kelly - Do You Want To Know A Secret? Casey - Day Tripper Lee - Eight Days A Week Listening to the songs to refresh my memory, it seems like it isn’t fair to have these guys singing Lennon/McCartney songs - such a big part of every song was the harmonies of the two leads. ---
