That actively pissed me off. Yes, the group sing is ridiculous and cheesy – that’s pretty much the point. Get the fuck over yourself and play along. The “I’m way too cool for this” act was unbelievably petty.

Just noticed your response. It was a joke!!

Anyone have any theories as to what’s keeping him there? I mean, dude, he’s already ridden the “little girls think I’m cute and want to date me” thing as far as he can, IMO. I don’t think anyone cares anymore. I would expect the response to be something like:

“What? Clay’s gay? I thought he came out last year. That was Doogie Howser? Oh. My bad.” _goes back to webstalking David Archuleta_

Nope. I realize it’s a long thread, but I gave him an A-, and wrote:

One surprise of the evening. I really wasn’t sure whether I like him personally, but once his performance began, I was charmed. Unfortunately, when it ended, he didn’t take the criticism (however much I might disagreed with some of it) gracefully. But for that, he would have gotten an A.
