Aretha-wannabe’s timing seems to be off. Otherwise she’s good. Not Aretha, but she’s got a nice voice. ---

That show really really sucked. The older guys could sing but didn’t have any stage prsence, while the babies (the four under 18) performed better but had horrible moments of being off key. **David H** -one of my favorites from the auditions, so I doubt he’ll make it to the top 12 \*\*Chickeze(?)-\*\*bad lounge singer **David C** -didn’t really like it but he’ll stay around **David A** -the best of the night but not the second coming as the judges think; still he’s cute and makes pocket-sized Ryan look giant **Jason Y** -totally forgettable and it wasn’t the song (does nobody remember my **Anwar** knocking Moon River out of the park season 4?) **Robbie** -like **Daughtry!** only with much much less talent **Luke** -pretty, pretty boy-was he singing? This years Ace-please keep him-did I mention the pretty? **Colton** -distracted by the hair **Danny** -my new favorite flaming contestant-not going anywhere until he’s way past wearing out his welcome **Garrett** -seriously? He’s the best they could find? **Jason** -hate the dreads, love him but wish he hadn’t gone so far off-key; has potential but I hate it when they pimp those that are off-key **Michael** -why don’t the judges just give him a pass to the final two? Not as good as he thinks he is Overall, nobody blew me away. Now on to girl’s night, or as I like to call it, “Let’s pimp **Carly** a little more”. ---

That seemed a little harsh from Simon. She really wasn’t bad. I think that might have been one of those things Simon does sometimes when he’s extra critical of someone he thinks can do a lot better. ---

[/QUOTE] According to [Wiki](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Say_a_Little_Prayer), the song was written for Dionne, whose version went to #4 in 1967 and Aretha’s version hit #10 in 1968. ---

Rock Nurse is only 23, what kind of hard life has she lead? I want her to sing better. I want her to stay for a long time just so I can hear the house band kick ass. Loved the performance, didn’t like her voice. ---

I think that’s the best I’ve ever heard the band play. I think they were having a lot of fun on Amanda’s song. She doesn’t have the world’s greatest voice, but she’s entertaining.
