I didn’t think that it was horrible, and she gets bonus points from me for a song written a) for a man, and b) after 1980. She needs to cut back on those endless runs though. ---

Ok I caught up a little on last night between online clips and the clips they showed at the opening of tonight’s show. Sundance…what is with holding a note on the consonant? Holding an Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn just sounds freakin’ WEIRD. Loved Blake’s song. Bald eyebrow guy at the end just creeps me out. Maybe I could like him if I could listen without having to look at him. ---

Jordin gets my respect. Her version of the song was pop, but solid pop, without vocal gimmickry. The competition on the girls’ side is shaping up to be very interesting this year… ---

I liked her enough to overlook the same horrific wardrobe issues Sabrina was guilty of, hopefully they’ll both get right up on over that. I loved her, although it did make me chuckle how much Ryan looked like an elf standing next to her. The girls seem to be kicking the guys butts so far, eh? ---

I liked Jordin. Her personality is too bubbly for me to like her in general, but a very nice voice, and she worked the performance at the end. ---
