The news is up at TWoP, but I won’t post it all here. It’s Billboard #1 night, giving contestants a wide range of choices. And now comes a confession that makes me puking sick. I’m starting to like Constantine. The Justin Guarani shirt, the corny song last week… and now he does a freaking Partridge Family song! His sense of humor is welcome on this show, where all the contestants take themselves so seriously. And no big surprise, but… Bo does “Time in a Bottle” by Jim Croce, which is exactly the kind of boring, luke warm classic rock he likes. I gotta go with Connie this time. Other contestants and their songs are posted at television without pity forums if you’re interested. ---

Hey, I’m happy to see Constantine returning to form. I really liked him early on – it wasn’t until we hit the later Hollywood rounds that he started sucking hard. Last week he was terrific…let’s see if he can keep it up tonight.\*\*\*\*\* And hopefully it won’t be very long before I stop turning to Fox on _Monday_ night, just to realize they’re not doing that anymore. :smack: \*\*\*\*\*Note: Praise for his recent singing aside, I’d still not mind if someone took brass knuckles to that smarmy smirk of his. ---

The theme is far too broad from me to pick songs I’d like the contestants to hear-- yet I feel I must. Federov MUST DO BACKSTREET BOYS. Perferably It’s Gonna Be Me. Just because. I’d like Nadia to do You Gotta Be by Desiree and she must do the power fist dance that goes with it. Just because. Constantine should not do PF as stated in the spoiler above. He should do the Archies. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Sugar, Sugar is the best song ever sung by cartoons. Bo should Light My Fire. Figuratively, of course. Micalkycalkin should do I’ve Got Rhythm. Really. Who could ask for anything more? I still want Anwar to do Hot Chocolate’s You Sexy Thing. Nikko? Why, Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Duh! Farm Girl — Man, I Feel Like a Woman would be perfect for her. But Earl would be perfect for me. Vonzell? Bootylicious. Oh sure, Simon has already ragged on her for being a Beyonce wannabe, but I think she should do this song with a really, really short skirt and learn that ass-shaky dance. This’ll bring her out of the “who is she, again?” ranks. Jessica shouldn’t sing at all. I never remember what she does anyway. Scott would revert to his former creepier self and sing Talking Head’s Psycho Killer. That was number one on Billboard’s Crazed Maniac List, right? ---

I really liked Connie last week, too. I found myself saying, “Holy shit, he can sing! I forgot he could do that!” If he keeps it up, I’ll be a fan again like I was at the beginning. I have a stupid question. What’s this TWoP of which you speak? I love Tuesdays! ---

I love Tuesdays too! I rad some stuff in Us and People about our contestants. They say Carrie has a boyfriend back home (does he know about Bo?) and ALSO “claim” that Anwar is going to cut his hair! Say it isn’t so! They also showed their childhood pictures;Connie looks just the same(cept his hair is shorter). See you guys tonight! Biggirl rocks! Oh, I had a weird dream about it this morning. I dreamed Mikhala started singing then just suddenly forgot the words and went silent. :eek: ---

Hmmm…looking the the TwoP forum, I find not only listings of what songs will be sung, but also what the judges comments were. Am I missing something here? Aren’t the Final-12 shows supposed to be broadcast live? And if not, weren’t they in previous seasons? ---

This year they’re taping the F12 and F11 shows so that they can edit in the commercials and still fit everyone in without going over. That’s the story, anyway. ---
