I’ve been hoping for a long time, that the judges had more control over who got sent home. Except this is NOT the season to do it. Because the ones the judges are drooling over are CRAP. ---

It’s the ever-popular [Auto-tune](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autotune), which is widely used to make mediocre voices sound perfectly on pitch, and can be adjusted to create very odd mechanical sounds, distorting the voice in thoroughly unnatural, but totally intentional, ways. ---
