Points put on Matt this week count. Next week, you get credit if you put points on either eliminated contestant. Meaning we can expect a lot more 20+ point performances from players next week.
I split mine between Kris and Anoop, both of whom laid down gut-wrenchingly horrible performances. I can’t fathom how Kris wasn’t even in the bottom three after that crock of shit. Unfortunately, that result gave me my second 0-point performance in a row (not counting bonus points, which fortunately I got on the nose).
I intentionally didn’t look at it before the results show aired, but I see they had Matt second-to-last. Not all that inaccurate. Of course, they also had Lil in second place, so…
I distributed my points the same way as I did last week (half for the person with the lowest # of votes, half for Kris), and got the same results as last week. With the SAVE gone now it takes away some of the complications, but I was wanting some padding so that I could still win even if Adam ends up winning-- but it’s still way too close to call and I could probably end up in last place somehow I bet. Very exciting.
Also, Rachael Rage, have you gotten every bonus question right so far or what?
I had a 100% streak going for a while there, but I have missed a couple in the last few weeks. Since I seem to be sort of crap at picking the people who actually get voted out, I’m hoping to at least get the prize for best on the bonuses, if I can keep this up!

I’m so pissed at myself for peeking at them this week. Apparently they tracked the phone calls that came from BizzaroWorld Idol…talk about a clusterfuck. But, hell with them – I’ve got my points put out there, and I’m going to take my chances that the Worsters don’t have the influence that DialIdol is saying they do.
<Whew!> Those DialIdol results had me nervous (has a “top pick” ever been eliminated before?), but I’m glad I stuck with the Lil pick.
Incidentally, I’ve removed from the roster everyone who hasn’t put in picks for at least a month – that’d be Sateryn76, Quasimodem, jali, DudleyGarrett, critter42, antist and aliskined.
You and me both. I am soooooooo crushed. I mean, as far as the show goes I’m glad it turned out the way it did, but I was SURE the safe thing was to put all points on Matt and I still got nuthin! I would have been better off sticking with the points I put in before the performance show because I thought I might forget to put them in later. I really thought Lil had some sort of weird secret fan base that was keeping her in the game. I think this dashes all hopes of repeating my performance last year. :smack::smack::smack:
Almost forgot about my close call – when the Top 36 were announced and the pool was launched, I picked Adam as my overall pick. Then, the day before the Top 12 were to perform, I switched to Anoop – I thought he was going to be the dark horse winner. With about an hour to spare before the deadline, I chickened out and switched back to Adam. <Whew!> again…
Tell me about it. Last week I was 3rd for the week and this week I ended up at 28th.

I can’t even bring myself to look. I had to work late and so my biological clock got all messed up. I went to make my choices thinking it was about 7:10, but it was really 8:10! So I missed everything. I hope the defaults were lucky…
Defaulting got you 12 out of a possible 25. I guess the question to ask would be “would you have put all your points on Matt”? If so, then that was one lucky default…
Middle of the pack as usual. I’m too chicken to put all my eggs in one basket (heh!) so I had 5 backup points on Matt. I only got one of the bonus questions right this week.

Personally, I don’t see any way Adam can survive this week after those terrible performances. I highly recommend everyone just dump their full 20 points on him.
