I don’t know whether to fall asleep or slit my wrists. ETA: I can’t even begin to care about Paige’s performance or what the judges are saying. She certainly didn’t do anything to get me to pay attention. I love the way she looks. They want her gone, for reals. ETA2: I feel like they were extra-hard on Paige when Katie was just as terrible (from what I could tell) and she got all the “A for effort” nonsense. ---

Didi was much better this week than she’s ever been. Some of the other girls need to be sweating now that Lacey and Didi stepped it up. Katie and Paige so far should be particularly worried. Although Paige is helped greatly by the fact that she’s the only minority female left. ---

Has Kara ever added one thing to this show? I’d pay a dollar to see her permanently replaced by Neil Patrick Harris. ---

That was another really safe and easy choice for Crystal. She sang it fine, but there was really nothing special about it. They really overrate her. She’s the best of a really bad field, but there’s really exciting or original about her. She’s just a busker. She’s probably going to win, and that will be a sort of punishment for her unto itself because in her imagination she’s cool and anti-establishment (and probably thinks she’s a songwriter. I can tell. She writes the kind of drivel that Jewel writes, I guarantee it. She’s got notebooks filled with songs about how her hands are not her own or whatever), but she’s going to be stuck singing bilge written by Kara and be the definition of dickless, commercial product. She’s a good singer, though, even though I want to swing her around by that stupid, skanky lip ring. Hopefully she can get the meth mouth fixed. Someone will have to take the kid away from her, of course. ---

I like Lilly’s quirkiness. But her voice was not good enough to pull that off. ETA: I think she’s the one whose CD I’d be most likely to buy out of this bunch though. ---

Lily was best of the night just for choosing that song. Nobody had the “wow factor” Simon. This whole season has been abysmal. ---

Lilly Scott I thought she was a bit shakey at first, but it picked up and I liked it. They talk about ‘knowing who you are as an artist’. She knows. Another one that keeps you glued to the set while she’s on. ---

Siobhan and Crystal are the best of the girls. I didn’t like Lilly as Patsy Cline at all. I thought she butchered it. ---
