Glad (but not surprised) that the “spoilers” above are BS. Who did this song in 1980, and did it suck as bad as Gokey’s version? ---

Hmmm…anyone have a link to last week’s thread? I swear I predicted the Goke’s song. If not, I defintely thought it. Stand By Me : This is the worst arrangement ever. What the heck? ---

Their cards say to pimp Gokey this week. They could have just easily said it was “a horrific mess” etc. ---

My God. I tried to watch this show again, but caught Gokey’s horrible horrible performance & then the “judges” saying it was great . So, that’s it, I’m done. If Cookie makes an appearance on the finale I’ll tune in for him. ---

“Stand by Me” is a beautiful song and no part of his rendition respected it. Does anyone know who did it in 1980? Edit: Never mind, found it. Mickey Gilley. ---

The Kris spoiler was right. (Cricetus, the somng lists are at least _alleged_ to be spoilers, they’re not speculation. This was was wrong, but there are times in the past when they’ve been dead on, and since I’ve tomatoes thrown at me for revealing what I regarded as trivial, non-spoiler details in the past, I’m just looking to avoid any more conflict about it). Kris was awful, by the way. He really cut the balls off that song, he didn’t really play the guitar, and it was really just boring. It was truly karaoke. ---

Hated Gokey. I like Kris, not so much tonight. Was his guitar even plugged in? Looked like he took a little lead fill and I didn’t hear any sound from it. ---

I just don’t like spoiler tags anyway. Anyway anyway, god I hope the mjsbigblog is right through, because for Adam to do that song would be so awesome. It’s such a great song. I know he’ll, um, crap. do it the way it was done in the movie Donnie Darko … and I think he will totally pwn. ---

I am positive someone did say Tina Turner and “Whats Love Got to do With It” for Lil Rounds. I think it was a good choice, not sure of her rendition. ---
