If this show is just an hour, I predict TPTB will tell the judges to limit their critiques as time is starting to get short. Because there are too many commercials!! ---

This was the first week I really liked Anoop… perhaps 'cause I love the song, but I thought he did a great job. Hated all the other performances so far. ---

Anoop is doing ok this week, but it’s still much too lttle too late for him. He’s a nice, bright college kid who can sing a little bit. He’s not a pop star, though. ---

Lil was OK. Anoop was OK. It’s funny that after Gokey’s wildly egocentric “version” of “Stand by Me” they say that Kris was “self-indulgent.” ---

I actually think Adam might do better with the original of that song. I think he needs to put some bounce into it to do it on this show or Simon will call it boring. I think he could sell the more recent version if he really stripped it down and just did it with an accousitic guitar or a piano, though. ---

Another elevator song for Scott. The guitar was basically a prop. I don’t think he really knows how to play it very well. He pretty much faked it. ---

Allison is singing really well, but I think they’ll say “old fashioned” and “boring” and they want her to be young and fun. ALSO, she should have done “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” I’ll never forgive her for passing on it. ---
