I’ll begrudgingly admit this is the first time Trump’s insanity may actually work for us. His 180 degree turnaround on Syria has got to be upsetting to other hostile actors and will make them think twice. Of course this operation was a pretty easy go decision but the decisions will only get more complex from here - and Trump and complex decisions don’t go well together. This will give him a bump in the polls - let’s just hope he doesn’t use that as a mandate to start tomahawking the whole fricking planet.

And it’s not as if Congress wouldn’t have approved. Nor was this attack a secret surprise.

There are other sources but just use logic. Unless we gave the Russians a day or so there was no way they could get all the people AND all the planes and equipment out of the way. You keep asking what the point was, and the point was to send a message. We did that by destroying that airfield. Runway, fuel points, infrastructure, planes and equipment. There is zero chance the Russians OR the Syrians got all their stuff out of there before the missiles struck.
Even a Canadian artist on twitter can see that. 
Same as it always is when presidents do this.
The orange jackass in chief has already been emasculated by those with the authority to do so: Judicial branch and Congress, (ban & AHCP). He’s not about to go to congress on bended knee so they can overrule his desperate need to bomb the shit out of something in the middle east. Especially if it’s going to get him lots of worldwide media attention and get everyone to stop talking about his incompetent administration and Russian ties.

Quite honestly, when Trump got to the last bit of his press conference with the praying and God bless stuff my first thought was “Hey, Middle East, you like the crazy? Well here comes some crazy.”
Yeah, I have to admit when I was watching this on CNN last night I got chills. We have a total loose cannon running a country that can casually toss 60 tomahawk missiles at an airfield in Syria (or just about anywhere else) any time the Pres has a bug up his butt. I have really mixed feeling about this strike from the perspective of what Syria did and the Russians (and Iranians) complicity, but it scares the literal shit out of me that Trump is in charge.
Bombing foreign nations without Congressional approval is rather old now, isn’t it? Is it even an issue? Reagan bombed Libya. Clinton bombed the Sudan. Obama dropped so many drone bombs on various countries that it was a running joke in the Onion that the drones were like his pets.
In 2013, Obama went to Congress, when many members had been calling for action, to ask for permission to take action in Syria. As soon as he asked, Congress hemmed and hawed and eventually refused to act. So instead a deal was reached where Syria’s chemical weapons were removed and destroyed.
How was the conditions of that " DEAL" verified?
About as well as Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s “DEAL” with Iran is verified ?
So after the Trumpident told the Russians what we were going to do, and Russia told the Syrians, and almost everyone on base decided to take a vacation(taking ghod knows what with them as they rushed out the gate)…after all this, what exactly was accomplished and how many of the low-level peons left behind were killed after all the bombing was over?
