Yep, long posts. So I’ll post it in bits. Here goes… …I think there is some pedantry going on in this thread. I must be pedantic in response and say… I believe a high percentage of Americans are too easily offended when their culture/country is talked about in a negative light… ---

…When there is a comparatively high peercentage of something then it is ok to use it as a generalisation. Or to be even more pedantic - A higher than world-average percentage of Americans are more easily offended than the average of all other countries. For the sake of argument - lets say 30% of brits are too easily offended, 20% of Japanese are too easily offended, 10% of Indians are too easily offended, and 60% of Americans are too easily offended. Obviously those percentages are wild guesses because they are for the sake of argument, but you get the idea that America’s percentage is unusually high so that leads people from the lower percentage countries to say “Americans are too easily offended”… ---

I am pished off with all this arshing about explaining myself. I will keep the opinion that you guys are too easily offended and I no longer give a ship if you agrree with it. In fact I no longer give a shinpad if you hate my guts because this funking Message board is too full of snobby barstewards and is probably not worth the attention I waste on it.
