On the show, she commented that a lot of people tell her it sounds like a black woman’s ghost got into her body.

I have no comments except for the fact I’m glad to see NBC has discovered YouTube can be a good promotional tool, as have other companies.

+1 and thank you **Sam Stone** for pointing her out. I HATE melisma and that whole diva school of singing - if Aretha were dead, she’d be helicoptering in her grave as this misuse of her legacy.

Having said that, **A. I. Wintermute** has it spot on…the raw talent and the emotional connection with her material is there - everything else is a style choice that can change over time…
