Things that go bump in the night. When is he getting back? How are we supposed to throw the SDMB Rushfan™ party without the man? ---

So you are going to have to come over to the October DubDope to collect your4 prize! ---

I don’t think _taller_ posts assist in the bumping process, Osip; but it was an impressive effort, nevertheless. Coldfire, have a good time for those of us stuck nowhere exotic. I can see another pointless movie sequel already: Next Summer We’ll Know What You Did Last Summer…Only Not _This_ Summer’s Last Summer; **Next** Summer’s Last Summer. God, do I need sleep. ---

Just trying to give this thread more bumps than a honey covered Coldfire at a mosquito convention. ---

Shhh! ::paranoid, neck-snapping head twists:: Coldy isn’t back yet, is he? _whew!!_ See, only a damned fool would actually expect a joyous holiday reveller to schlep back booze for this group, tossing out the dirty laudry to make room. But hey, it’s worth a try! With any luck, Coldy will be so sunburned, relaxed, blitzed out and mellow we’ll be able to guilt him into all kinds of things! Would that I _could_ be at DubDope! You’ll just have to drink for all of us, m’kay? Veb ---

Hey, ColdyClogs! I heard you’re having a fun time diving and…\ and drinking and lots of fun stuff. So, here’s looking at you, kiddo. And hoping that you and your girlfriend get back safely, with at least _some_ money left in your pockets. 😛 ---

Looks like it’s bumping time. Coldie should be back soon. Maybe we should all hide behind the sofa and yell “Surprise” when he comes in. ---

Welcome back. Wow, that sounds rather ironic, since you are now much farther away from me than before. We were [talking](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=36156) about you while you were gone. I was just thinking of you last night, when I finally got my stereo back from the guy I lent it to over the summer. I had left both discs of _Chronicles_ in it for the whole summer, and was quite happy to finally be able to listen to _Bastille Day_, which I’d been wanting to hear ever since Bastille Day. And as I type this, a Rush song that I don’t think I’ve ever heard before is playing. Freaky.
