# Ammonia and Baking Soda?

Anyone know what reaction mixing these two in a closed container will have? Are any toxic gases produced (as it would be with bleach and ammonia, for example.) ?

I don’t think they even react since they are both bases; you need an acid and base if you want a reaction. In any case, they don’t have any chlorine in them, which is the hazard with bleach.
