would the amount of atoms in the earth exceed one googol (10^100)?

would the amount of atoms in the solar system exceed one googolplex (10^googol)?

Nope. I’ve pretty consistently heard estimates in the range of 10[sup]76[/sup] to 10[sup]81[/sup] for the number of atoms in the entire universe.

[This site](http://pages.prodigy.net/jhonig/bignum/qauniver.html) agrees with that range.

And [here](http://mathforum.org/library/drmath/view/59178.html)’s a calculation of the number of atoms in the earth.
