**Our intrepid messiah returns from his glacial exploits, takes a deep breath of London air, coughs and sets sights towards conquering the fair city of Dam, capital of never-netherland and home of the legendary Ajax.** Well maybe – if the car is repaired in time (brakes went). I will know tonight whether it will be ready for the morning. If not I will probably jump on a plane anyway. Planing to stay at the Mercure, but haven’t booked as yet. Could somebody please email me a mobile/telephone number or two, ta. I will post this evening when I learn more about my chariots fate. ---

Am I the only one with this image forming of ‘It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World’ ? - I see folk with crazed eyes maniacally racing from all directions on two continents in various unlikely modes of transport to some distant speck on the map. BTW Twisty, Terry Thomas was in that film “I shay, you’re all a complete shower” messiah - My British Midland flight out of LHR (coming back Monday) was a reasonable £100.60, inc. taxes. Might be worth a shot ? ---

Messiah, check your mail! There’s no way in hell you can get a flight for 100 quid now, I’m afraid… maybe EasyJet, as shitty as Luton is. Try KLM, BA, and British Midland. A flight may be possible, but will be costly. ---
