Not sure where I stand on the issue of using real ones, but the comments crack me up. They don’t crack me up. Why aren’t they complaining about V1 and V2 rocket toys, which were openly called ‘terror weapons’? ---

I sympathize with the sentiments, I guess, but it is pretty heavy handed for satire. ---

While I do appreciate a bit of gallows humor and don’t want to come across as berating **kjckjc** … In other news in Oregon they are in the process of passing a law that would make it illegal to have any kind of camera on a R/C aircraft. It’s quite evident there’s a media push for scaremongering on the subject, but there’s a lot more to “drones” than killing spy machines. At the moment I’m helping a conservation NGO to develop a project to use an R/C plane with a live video camera to monitor Manta Ray populations on an island near Bali and spot illegal fishing of this endangered species. Yup, eeeeevil drones. ---

The link in the OP was much, much funnier than the subsequent comments in this thread led me to believe. > [@Amazon reviewer](#): > > My one real regret about my military history modelling hobby is that the carpet-bombing of Cambodia was just to big and messy to reproduce in any meaningful way in my hobby-room, but I guess sometimes you just have to accept that life is like that…
