There are a couple of Mexican restaurants in the Twin Cities called La Cucaracha. Apparently, they’re quite good, but I’ve didn’t have the courage to eat there. I don’t like the idea of roaches associated with my food. Robin ---

I posted about this restaurant before. It’s called **C.O. Jones** , and in Spanish _cojones_ means ‘testicles.’ But [they knew that](http://www.c-o-jones.com/) (have a look at their slogan) ---

In Albuquerque NM, there is a Chinese place called “Myung Dong”. Just can’t bring myself to try it. ---

In Torrance, CA, a few blocks from where I used to live, there was a restaurant called “Leave Me Alone.” I can only imagine how weird it must have been for the person taking reservations: “Hello, Leave Me Alone?” ---

In Jerusalem, there used to be a little restaurant with a bright blue sign which proclaimed: “Abu Assad’s Danish Tea House – Oriental Food – Stereo Music.” I loved that sign. ---

I don’t know how wide spread he is, he’s all over Orlando but this guy is named “Truly Nolan” and he owns a pesticide and pest service self titled, “Truly Nolan” - they drive little yellow cars or trucks around and they used to have antennae or ears on top of them. My friend wanted to start “Sod Off” which would be a lawn care company. ---

In Joshua Tree, CA, there is a computer store called “Hard and Floppy” Also, I came across a billboard driving through North Carolina last summer for “Barefoot’s Septic Tank Service” Still chuckle about that one. ---

Somewhere in south Louisiana (Lafayette, maybe?) there’s a restaurant called Bayou Jeaux (“Joe’s” in Cajun/French). Not all that funny out loud, but the sign always gets a giggle out of me. Or maybe I’m just far too easily amused. ---

I posted about this before, too… but there’s a restaurant near my apartment called the **Insomnia Karaoke Restaurant**. Then again, there’s this local Vietnamese Pho place called **Pho Bich Nga**. You can imagine how my friend Nathan amuses himself by calling it a slightly different name… F\_X ---
