Bringing the thread down, I know, but I don’t find anything about Amy Winehouse fodder for humor. The woman is completely lost and slowly killing herself, and it’s sad to see her all-but-inexorable decline. Although never what I would consider a beauty, I’d rather think of Amy [when she looked like this](http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00346/GOODamy_346769a.jpg), than in any of the thousands of images circling the globe of her in an emaciated, drug-addled state everyone seems to have great pleasure ridiculing. ---

Ain’t gonna touch that link. She may have been relatively hittable in her early years, but nowadays you don’t know _where_ that cooter’s been. She may be lost and killing herself, but I have trouble generating sympathy for self-inflicted conditions. I smoke and will probably get cancer if I don’t quit, but it’s my own damn fault. ---
