Sah-son is boring. Dominos pizza and chocolate lava cakes. I’d rather do something a little more special but it’s his day. I suppose I should be happy he doesn’t want $1000 birthday parties and expensive gifts, but damn I didn’t even buy him anything because he doesn’t want anything. ---

Home. Tired. Tried to find a new hairbrush, but the only ones at Rite-Aid were the same crappy brand I got from CVS. I’ll try Walgreens tomorrow, but it looks so far like Con-Air has the drugstore market locked up. I also discovered that my car is extremely low on oil. Looks like I’ll be getting an oil change this weekend instead of going to see my dad. I shall call him because I also forgot to get him a birthday card. :smack::smack::smack: I’ll get one on my hairbrush quest tomorrow. ---

Admittedly, they’re quite rare, and the glowing females don’t fly, so they’re not as easy to spot as fireflies, but bugs with light up bums shouldn’t be able to hide quite so well! Most people I’ve mentioned them to don’t know they’re around either. Wish we had fireflies too though, they are awesome. ---

Things I learned at work today: 1. The new food/drink pairing I tried this morning - Ricola\* and coffee - is not bad. 2. The tech guy at work has a cold too. That makes three of us at work who have colds. Maybe we should start a club. 3. I learned how to use Prezi today. Because, I suppose, PowerPoint is is too mainstream. _adjusts hipster glasses_ 4. My coworker’s Moroccan tea is very good, but boy, does it ever do a number on the bladder. :rolleyes:😛 So yeah, a nice day at work.🙂 \*Ricola: a brand of throat drops. ---

Howdy from da cave! I made a nummy dindin tonight. Grilled ham steaks, steamed cabbage and butterbeans. Oh, and rolls. YUM! I have some chikin boobs and laigs thawin’ out along with two sorta big \ Boston butts \. Ima fire up the smoker Sattidy mornin’. I got a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for some smoked chikin and while I’m at it, the \ butts \ will be smoked. They will become bbq next weekend for the big Memorial Day weekend, it’s Summer now pool party. Sometimes I think I talk waaaaaaaaaay too much about food. Hmmmmmm… ---
