# An American in Vancouver

I don’t know if it’s _the_ way to meet people, but it does seem to work. Paddling and beach volleyball both seem to be geared towards getting large groups of both sexes together in a non-creepy environment.

But if you want to get all tangled up, you might as well take a yoga class. The studio I went to was [www.pranayoga.com](http://www.pranayoga.com). Good looking women in tight clothing, and you can sit down afterwards and have tea and cookies with them. What’s not to like?
