I did not buy any particularly good gifts this year, I admit but the spouse needs a big ticket items after the first that I’ll be springing for I know what I’m getting because I found it in the Amazon shopping cart. Nice enough, but nothing breath taking. ---

My husband surprised me pleasantly this year. He knows his way around electronics and software, like Carrie Bradshaw knows her way around the shoestores of New York. So i asked him for: an easy moodtracking app with zero learning curve; a thingumajig so I can have internet radio in the kitchen over our existing speakers; and for a way to disable my Capslock key. All of these I got, and l’m very pleased. Who cares that you cant wrap those ? ---

I got a key chain that says #1Mom on it, but the gifter (my son) preferred it as a necklace, so I took the pendant part off, popped it on a chain, and put it around my neck. I pretty much looked like Mr T, but he was proud of his good taste and I wore it to lunch and anyone who wouldn’t do the same for an adoring child is suspect, in my opinion. ---
