Ha– **Taxi** , I want to own them all in paperback too. That’s why I check the hardcover out from the library. 😃 I’m a little impatient sometimes…when I’m really into a series, I _just cannot wait_. 🆒 Since I’m in a big city, I have to get on the reserve list _months_ in advance to get it any where close to when it is released. (I was like 85 on the list for _Plum Lucky_ and just now got it. But, I’m 15 on the list for _Fourteen_!! 🆒 I put in my reservation at least a week ago.) Thirteen comes out June 17 in paperback; the same day that Fourteen is released in hardcover. ---

Morning Mumpers! I slept till 9:45 today,guess I was tired. Nelly tried to force her way through the front screen door this morning. I think I’m going to spend the day in the kitchen. I have a pot roast with potatoes and carrots all done already. I think I’m going to make peanut butter blossom cookies, cheddar bay biscuits (at the request of my husband), and a cold pasta salad of some sort. I also think I need to make bread again, we are almost out, I think. Love the picture of you three! And I didn’t even notice **beebs** pointing at Mt. Penis (cite?) until he pointed it out. \*\*rosie \*\* feel better! **Mooom** I hope you are able to talk sense into your daughter about packing stuff. **Special1** hope \*\*Special Teen \*\* is feeling better now. I’m slowly getting her organized, or trying to. It doesn’t help that I will put stuff aside to go out and it will keep ending up either in my room or stored away in case I want it again. Or stuff I don’t want gets appropriated from the out pile and ‘hers’. It’s not as bad as when I was a kid, I help keep it under control but it drives me nuts. ---

Garage sortification is going a bit better, plus a lot of the boxes out there are empty, so it’s not as daunting a task. Still, there are things I need to ask about - as in: “Is it really necessary?” I fear the argument and tear potential is a bit higher than I’d like. My back aches already. Sucks to get old and decrepit. ---

Oh, dear. Grandma Tiger, being even more stubborn than her progeny or her progeny’s progeny, apparently fell SEVERAL times during the night last night trying to get to the bathroom, and actually passed out, but woke up and crawled back to bed; plus when she finally did make it to the bathroom, produced a massive amount of blood in addition to relieving her constipation. But does she push the lifeline thingy she has around her neck in case of emergencies JUST such as this? Of course not! She waits till this morning and then calls her 85-year-old friend, even though Tiger Sis lives 5 minutes away. Fortunately, Friend called Tiger Sis, who went over, saw that Grandma Tiger was looking like, as she described it, “death warmed over,” and over Grandma Tiger’s insistence that they should just call the doctor’s office, called 911, which came and loaded Grandma Tiger into an ambulance for a trip to the emergency room. Where she is currently getting checked out; Tiger Sis will call me the instant she knows anything. And what reason, perchance, did Grandma Tiger give for not using her lifeline? She “wasn’t hurt”! AARGH! She’s 87 years old! Falling multiple times, hard enough to actually pass out at least once, doesn’t qualify as an emergency? AAAAAARRRRGGHHHHHH!!! What have I done to deserve such a stubborn mother? And why can’t I just go yell at her? (I know, I’d have to get in line; my sister has first dibs. 😃 ) All bitching aside, good thoughts for Grandma Tiger would be much appreciated. She IS 87, and although she’s been in pretty good health, this is obviously QUITE worrisome. Aarghh… ---

**Mama Tigs,** I’m sending good thoughts for your mother and you and the family. I stayed home sick today. I woke up feeling nauseaus. I got up, but the longer I stayed up, the worse it became. Finally, I had to barf, which made me decide to stay home. I’m still feeling icky, although I’m not barfing at the moment. Hopefully, I’m done with that. I think I’m going to lie down again.
