To my pals here on the Dope, I wanted to Thank You all for the fun times here on the Dope. I have learned a lot and a few of you have become genuine pals. But I met one here who has not made this board very fun for me. I am simply tired of the hassle of dealing with it. I have tried to be friends, but I have found that it is simply not possible. Mods: I am really sorry for all the trouble. You guys have way more than enough to do. I don’t need to be adding babysitting on top of your thankless jobs. I don’t mean for this to be one of those infamous Dope ‘suicide’ notes. I have had a lot of family issues come up as of late and this proves to be the proverbial straw that broke the Baboon’s back. This and the fact that following an arguement with said person, my website is mysteriously hacked. I need to disconnect from the net for a while. I felt I owe it to my pals here to not simply vanish without a trace. ---

Wow. I’ve enjoy reading your posts. I wish things would have worked out for you to stay, but thank you for taking the high road and not causing an undue mess. Would liek to see you back at some time. Thanks for the fun, and I, for one, will miss you. ---

Sorry. Unacceptable. You had me at “Have you labelled your labelmaker?” and I haven’t looked back since. I wasn’t even the one who owned a labelmaker, but from that moment I knew two things: 1. I really wanted a labelmaker so’s I could label it; and 2. Bad News Baboon makes my rainy days bright. I don’t know your history with whatever poster you have a problem with, and I haven’t experienced such a problem myself on the boards, but there are ways to deal with that in your settings. I for one hope you reconsider. ---

I’m sorry to see this happen to such a wonderful person. I haven’t even gotten to meet you yet, though I’ve been to some DFW dopefests. Hopefully, you’ll keep in touch with **Zy** or one of the other dopers in the area, and still show up at the occasional dopefest. Take care. I’ll miss you and your posts. BNB if I may make a suggestion (if you are still around to read this) perhaps the mods may allow you to retire this SN and male a new one as sort of a witness protectio0n plan. You would have to disavow all knowledge of your old identity and just be your new person from now on. ---
