# An aural illusion

I just wanted to share this with the Dopers. I just connected my new computer to my reciever and then had a Zoom session with my son. When he was speaking, the sound appeared to come from the computer which was directly in front of me. Unless I closed my eyes in which case it suddenly appeared to come from the actual speakers above my right shoulder. It was really weird and fully as convincing as any optical illusion.
