# An AUS Husband accidentally spends $725 on EIGHT items at the supermarket......have you ever been majorly overcharged?

If I could _find_ 700 cans of cat food, I’d be so dumbfounded by my good fortune that I might go ahead and buy them (These days I count myself lucky to be able to find twelve).

Yep. I don’t tap my card until the cashier tells me the total, and I always respond with the same line: _“That’s consistent with my expectations.”_

That’s the kind of customer I like.

Also, if it’s _not_ consistent with your expectations we can look into that as long as the transaction isn’t entirely over and make corrections.

It’s even worse than that! If this were during the Christmas shopping rush, I probably wouldn’t have checked the receipt!
