They brought it back in 2006. It was called Vault.
You didn’t buy enough it and they took it away again and gave us Mello Yello instead.

When I was younger I mixed Mountain Dew and Surge together. Surge was a little off but together I thought it was delicious.
Maybe that is why I don’t really noticeably feel the effects of caffeine anymore? Immunity? 😛 Still drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day though…

Was Surge the one that was bright green and tasted like Fresca mixed with chalk?
Good luck to those of you who miss it, but even if it’s reintroduced I don’t see it being any more successful this time around.

It never went away, but recently it has made a resurgence and is being advertised again. You can get it anywhere in 12-packs.
I loved Surge, absolutely loved it. I liked Vault, too, but with the years inbetween, it was hard to tell the difference. I’d have to have both on the same day.
Anyway, I hope surge comes back, or at least Vault. I rather doubt it, though.
