# An event that tops the World Cup? Golden Jubilee

The best coverage I watched of the Jubilee was on “Have I Got News For You”.

Well OK, it was the _only_ coverage I watched (being neither British, nor a Commonwealth citizen, nor someone with even a smigden of a clue as to why anyone in 2002 would support a monarchy). But I still think it was probably the best coverage.

“Prince Philip’s nickname for the queen is ‘Sausage’. I suppose that’s because she’s fat and German.”
