Fair enough, but, again, that line of his gives me hope for us making it all the way to a hundred percent here: “Actually, my plan would be to have the entire political will of the rest of the planet shame them into doing the right thing. If, however, their reaction would be anything like certain posters here making excuses for the continued atrocities, well, international will would not make any difference.”
Now, maybe this is just yours truly being a cockeyed optimist – but it sure sounds to me as if, upon noticing how people are reacting in this thread, even he can’t help but realize that the plan he proposed won’t actually work.

I have never accused him of being stupid and have offered constructive criticism to his arguments.
Frankly several others have been considerably more aggressive and he has not reacted well to criticism.

I think if we give one of these (full size and functional) to every Israeli and Palestinian, and give them some kind of coal-powered navigation system, they’ll find their way to better climes.
If you look at the US Government’s definition of “white” or “caucasian”, it covers both. But that presupposes only 5 racial divisions. Of course, you can slice and dice “race” as finely as you wish and exclude any number of those peoples.
The Arab-Israeli conflict isn’t small, but if you add up all the deaths since the start of Zionism back around 1880, you still have a lot less deaths than we’ve seen in the three year old Syrian Civil war.
Now, if the Arab-Israeli conflict is a source of other bigger wars, you might have a reason to blame the Long Islanders for their expected response to being displaced by angry Israelis. I don’t see that.
IMHO, America’s goals are, broadly taken, good. But there nonetheless is a pretty good case to be made that the US is right near the top when it comes to being a warlike country. Maybe Israel, Lebanon, and the State of Palestine go to war about as often, but America’s wars are a lot bigger. So I’m going to suggest a spot that threatens the peace and stability of the whole planet a lot more than Jerusalem: Metropolitan Washington DC (metropolitan, to include the Pentagon). Where should we send all those people?
The issue isn’t the importance of the spot on the planet, it’s the rights and liberties of the people who live there and those who would like to or feel entitled to. And the answer to that is not “Oh, you can live anywhere, just not here”.
