Ugh, been dealing with defensive driving course over weekend, then today being my due date, instead of faxing my certificate to me I had to hire a courier to pick it up, drive downtown and meet me downstairs in that same building and hand it to me, then drive all the back up to the court building, arrived at 11:58, they were closed for lunch when people can leave work, and wait until 1:00 and then drive back to work I’m shot I’m shot I’m so frustrated wit ht eprocess which could have been so much easier darn beaucrats tired of the mess mmmhs audh asdjid kidodo a … ijjajd…owdiie… ---

I’m not having a great time in life right now, but I popped in here to share that I have a male Anna’s hummingbird perched on the top of the arbor chasing bugs and defending his territory against the other hummingbirds and raining down terror on the cats. I am going to focus on that. ---

I have mostly pulled myself together and have remedied my two brain fart situations. Soon I will study some more. In the meantime… Here’s a conversation, via text, that I’m still trying to figure out between myself and a new, now former, acquaintance… (paraphrased for privacy below) NNFA: If it was you, would you write this particular letter of recommendation that may have a significant effect on someone else’s life? The circumstances of me (NNFA) writing it, though, are questionable because of my (NNFA’s) relationship to a another person involved in this situation. Sticks: Here are three things that I would be concerned with if it was me before I decided whether or not to write the letter (insert list of valid concerns here). NNFA: (Insert already written letter). I guess I’ve already written the letter. LOL. I actually had no response at this point because I figured that she’d already considered all of my points and decided to write the letter. Ok, no problem. Then, I send her just a general chatty text message a couple of days later (that required a response) and have gotten no response. Which leads me to believe that she’s mad because I didn’t answer her? I don’t know. I can’t figure it out. Should I have said something else? ETA: I guess what I’m saying is, was I rude? I certainly wasn’t trying to be. I just didn’t think anything else needed to be said. ---

Hugs all around. Looks like a bunch of 'em are needed but I am not able to retain a lot of what I read right now. **StickyBuns** I can’t see where you did anything bad or wrong myself. Maybe she got distracted by something shiny? I don’t text, but if I did, I don’t think I’d monitor it constantly. Same way I don’t necessarily respond to emails immediately. Or maybe she’s butt-hurt and you’re well rid of her. I dunno… Counters are all out and the kitchen looks nekkid. This time tomorrow, it should be a kitchen again. I may just work half a day tomorrow - we shall see. ---

**Sticky** , in my experience people will get butthurt if they want to, not if they don’t, and that about sums it up. If your _intent_ was not to be rude or insult someone, _reasonable_ people should see that, and _unreasonable_ people are better off not being your friend. ---

The kitchen is ready to be put together. The old counters and sink are in the garage. I vacuumed up all the crud that fell into the cabinets and found 4 cat toys. We’ve eaten, and I’m going to veg a little until I can’t keep my eyes open, then it’ll be a melatonin night. ---

Today was a wasted day. Didn’t get a thing done and work is slow tonight, I’ve had only one call in over an hour. I need money dammit, and we only get paid for talk time, not online time. I haven’t heard from anybody I want to hear from and heard from the ones that I don’t want to hear from. Yay for new counters. Sorry for those feeling under the weather. I feel like I’m in a fog today and I realize I haven’t eaten anything but a few pieces of cheese and some crackers. Slapping people with a wet trout? I don’t think you were rude **Sticky** If you have nothing more to say you have nothing more to say I don’t like texting all that much, I do it because it’s expected and for some people it’s the only way they will communicate but it’s too easy for misunderstandings. I kind of miss the days of face to face communication, when you had to get out to talk to people. ---

I _nearly_ started the MMP last night at just after midnight, seeing as I was still up- but decided to go to bed instead. I tend to be too early for things, and am trying to knock it off- my record is over 12 hours early for a flight, and an hour is pretty well normal. I may well start a new MMP on friday or summat sometime, so be warned 😉 Went mouse shopping today, which is a nice kind of shopping- unfortunately my original mouse is being a bully, and my new one appears to be neurotic and won’t stop squeaking. We were getting all worried that it was getting serious from the amount of noise (we’d stuck so many new distracting toys and balled up paper in the cage that it’s hard to see exactly what’s going on), then realised she’s just freaking out at _everything_. I guess she’ll calm down.
