I want one! Given that, the video is a bit annoying. Adam’s never heard of Franz Joseph? And the guy mispronounced Babel? I can forgive not remembering Arrex. As much as he was inspired by the Blueprints, it’s interesting he put engineering in, er, the engineering hull. I tend to think it is at the back of the saucer section, but of course it makes sense to be in the secondary hull. And (even if this drawing didn’t have it) assume the tubes behind the grate wall run up the nacelle arms. But the biggest thing? Where is the bowling alley?! I love drawings like that. When I was in college, I had the below cutaway as a large poster on the wall of my dorm room. It’s the movie Enterprise, rather than that from the original series, and maybe not as detailed as the one in the video. When I toured the WWII battleship USS Alabama I found the _shocking_ answer to a question that had confounded me all my life, to wit: on board, do you actually take a dump over a trough of flowing water in a common room? My dad served on a jeep flattop in the Atlantic and mentioned that. He said occasionally a jokester upstream would set a wad of paper in the trough and light it, to the annoyance of those downstream. ---

In “Tomorrow is Yesterday,” after they arrive in the past, I think Spock wonders if Mr. Scott was still with them, clearly wondering if the engineering hull had broken away. I assume there is some engineering section in the saucer to deal with the impulse engines. But in general that was amazing, and I have the original Franz Joseph blueprints. ---
