After a long day of working in the yard, Mrs. and I finally went to bed. Suddenly, the motion-light over the basement door came on. Every time I’ve seen this happen and looked out the intruder was a possum, raccoon, or cat. This time I saw nothing, but got wondering if I ever closed the basement door. I traipsed down the stairs in my usual bedtime attire :eek: only to see ass & elbows of an intruder running out the open door! The police never contacted me about an assault charge, so I assume the sight of the bottom half of a naked, fat, pasty, white guy charging down the stairs with Big Al & the Boys flopping & flapping must have traumatized the intruder into a fear-laden, unbreakable silence, rendering him incapable of facing or sharing the ordeal with even an experienced therapist. 😃 Serves him right.
