I have an early printing of this book, and at the time it was published, they only had enough evidence to convict them of 3 murders. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, our paying for this creature’s medical care and general costs, rankles. On the other hand, he wanted to die for years, and his getting what he wanted, rankles. So, good riddance to bad rubbish. Never have I wanted to believe in hell more. ---

I’m just sad for the family who never found out where their boy was buried; they may keep looking but the chance of finding him probably just died with Ian. ---

I didn’t see this thread and started another one. The responses here are pretty much what I would expect. Were he and Hindley akin to the Manson family in the US?I expect the airwaves / interwebs to be all abuzz when Charlie kicks. Any comment from Morrissey ?:)Not to make light of it; I actually do wonder as he’s pretty passionate about the whole matter. ---

The scumbag’s last wish is to have his ashes scattered on Saddleworth Moor. One last “Fuck You” to his victims. I say that if they were to be put anywhere they should be poured into the sewage at Sadleworth Wastewater Treatment works. A deserving fate for an utter shit.
