Well, the republican politicians there have been spending a lot of time concern trolling about pregnancy, abortion and women’s healthcare in general. I suspect, though, that our honoree was more concerned with stirring the pot than with any sort of logical satire or mockery. ---

I am a Virginian and can’t wait for our new name. The current name suggests I am either a virgin or that I support virginity in some vague way. I’m looking forward to being refered to as a ‘Vaginan’ or, even better, a ‘resident of Vagina.’ The place is humid enough to deserve the name. ---

This thread made me look up whether the etymologies of \*vagina \*and \*virgin \*have any ancient root in common. Nope. I’ve got a joke as good as \*\*nice guy’\*\*s though! West Virginia should be renamed _Wet Vagina_, amirite? ---
