I also noticed while looking through some of the CS:S server tools, that it is possible to set the number of times per map that players can buy a certain weapon. For example, perhaps you are allowed 2 AWP buys and 2 autosniper buys for the duration of the map. A neat idea, eh? Teamwork might come in the form of buying weapons for other teammates who’ve already exceeded their buy maximums. ---

Man the stars surely aligned tonight…I had about 15 minutes to play and I didn’t embarrass myself! My lousy P90 got me an 8-3 Kill/Death ratio…are you sure that was CS that I was playing? 😃 ---

I’ve been playing on NewbieRoundup2 (NR2) when 1920s is empty or there are no (obvious) dopers aboard. On a good round, I can hit an even kill/death ratio on NR2. However, I keep forgetting that NR2 starts you off at max money and don’t buy a gun in round 1! :smack: ---

I have a similar problem, only with caffeine. Not enough, and my reflexes are too slow. Too much and I’m rushing because I’m too impatient to wait for backup. Some questions: How do I enable the console (I like to follow conversation after I die)? Where can I get a tutorial on setting up autobuy scripts? Is there an “ignore” feature to use against obnoxious players? Is there a simple way to change one’s tag in-game? Stats on damage done versus damage taken - is that set by the server, or can I have the client show that also? Thanks ---

i) I just add -console after the shortcut to CS Source. There is a tick box somewhere, I think inside Options,Keyboard,Advanced… tick that. Then in game hit tilde ~ ii) Sorry i never bother with scripts, I change my mind too often. iii) Don’t think so. Admin can boot them tho. iv) I just hit esc, options and change the name. There may be a command for the console I guess v) Will show the damage done and taken in console 😉 ---

name [name] in console works. You can ignore people by hitting escape and going to the “players” tab… you can at least ignore their voice communication that way. there may be an ignore console command. ---

Well, you have to launch HL2:DM to get a list of those servers, maybe you launched CS:S? If not that, then you have to be sure to specify the port. Typing ‘connect [bf3.cc42.com:27016](http://bf3.cc42.com:27016)’ after launching hl2:dm works. I’m not sure how the favorites menu works, but I’d imagine you could add the same thing there. ---
