Well, two weeks ago I built a machine that’ll handle HL2. Last week, I bought HL2. Half an hour ago, I beat HL2. Now I’m ready for some multiplayer. I haven’t played CS for a couple of years because, well, I suck at it and everybody else on almost every server I tried was a complete jackass. That’s probably still the case everywhere else, but how about you fellas? Would you welcome another target? ---

OK, Zombie Counter-Strike is absolutely frightening and amazingly fun. I have to say that limiting the human players to like 4 or 5 is an absolute necessity, though. Nothing gives me a worse feeling than being stuck in the middle of a reload with 4 or 5 zombies all closing in on you. Walking. Creeping… ---

All the [DG] guys seem like they left to play on their server. What’s the address on your server, anyway? I’m thinking of getting rid of this server because it’s really powerful but I’m not using it anywhere near its capabilities… I may go with a cheaper CS-only server. ---

Yep - I have to give up the server at the end of this month, so not long. We should all get together tonight, say, 9pm eastern, for a big SDMB game before the server has to be shut down. I’d like for one of the [DG] guys to post here or contact me if you’d like to be the new home for the SDMB games. ---

I’m sorry that I have not been around for a while. I had been just playing against bots myself - working on my game. Of course my home computer crashed recently so I haven’t been doing much of anything recently. I had been planing on building a new machine around now so that is what I am currently working on. I could use some recommendations for a PCI-E x16 Video Card. ---

I may rent out a different, smaller, low cost server… or we may find a new home. I’ll be around tonight, so contact me by aim ( senorbeef 00 ) with no space or yahoo as senorbeef. (I don’t actually think there are search bots that search for aim names for spam, but I don’t want to take any chances) Or just show up - we may have a game going. Oh. My. God. I just played Zombie-Dope. Here’s me thinking, “heh, I’ll just nail 'em at long distance with my Steyr, they won’t even get close to me”. Oh, how wrong I was. I kept firing and firing, but they just kept walking towards me… walking… walking… walking… I found myself screaming, “DIE motherfuckers, DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!”, bullets firing, until that one final moment when my ammo ran out, the only sound in my ears the futile click, click, click of an empty gun. Until finally, the blade embedded itself in my side, and I fell to the ground, gasping my final breath. :eek: Holy snapping duckshit, I can’t remember the last time I found myself screaming in terror at a computer game!
