My neighbor went to the grocery store last night, heard a noise behind one of the lettuce fridges, investigated, and discovered, of all things, an eight or ten week old kitten, just cowering and cold to the bone. She bought some cat food, brought the little guy home, set him up in front of a heater, and he was bounding around the house when I woke up to come to work today. Unsurprisingly, she’s going to keep him. She rescued him and he’s adorable and quite obviously resilient. All she needs now is a name. We’re trying to think of famously unkillable people----Rasputin, Castro—but haven’t hit upon anything we’re wild about. I figured the dope could provide. ---

If you want a bible name, either [Lazarus](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lazarus)(the back from the dead brother of Mary and Martha) or the oldest man in the bible, [Methuselah](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methuselah). Or [Elijah](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elijah)who never died, but was taken into heaven via chariot. I like Lazarus best, because kitty could be Lazarus Long. ---
