# An update on my 26 year old goldfish

Well, the who resurection scenario played out again yesterday. I found the fish flopped over and hovering at the bottom of the aquarium for I don’t know how long. I whirled into action and replaced 5 gallons of the water with fresh cooled down water (I’m in the desert SW, so the coldest my tap water this time of year is very warm. I have to cool it to room temperature with ice) and I changed the filter.

This morning he is revived with his third lease on life. The aquarium was clean the first time, now it’s diamond crystal clean, with a Good Housekeeping gleam at the corner. I’m not sure how long I can sustain that.

Send casseroles.

Well goldfish are related to catfish so he’s got 6 more resurrections in him!
