In the children’s book “Are You My Mother?” it’s called a **snort**. ‘Jus sayin’.

Dodging and Burning are common tools in image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and GIMP. It references techniques used in traditional darkrooms where parts of the image were manually given more or less exposure by blocking parts of the light as it was projected onto the light sensitive paper, often achieved by waving your hand in the light path.

Some YouTubers still refer to unedited video as ‘footage’ which is a holdover from how movie film was measured.

Actually, southpaws were originally boxers who lead with their left fist.

t’other way round, lead and jab with the right and big shot with the left.
