So, what movie are you seeing? My personal rule about the lower end is not to lech any woman younger than my oldest daughter. That would almost make you too young (if you were a woman and all.) ---

Actually, it’s not uncommon among romance novel plots for the girl to be in her mid-twenties and the sigh-guy to be in his mid-thirties. The point is that women are the primary audience for these romances, and they love the idea of this age pairing. You’re probably the perfect age for her – young enough to still be a stud, old enough to have some wisdom and stability. ---

My husband and I have an age difference of 11 years. I married him when I was 19, and he was 30. We’ll be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary next month. It’s not about the ages (or the age difference), it’s about the people involved, just as others have said. ---

But in real life, it would be nice if you’ve both grown a little from the experience. And I don’t see what age has to do with it. Older people should get that kind of respect too. And not just romantic attachments, but all of the people whose lives you influence. In theory, anyway. ---

I’ve always took it to mean what \*\*tdn \*\*suggests - both of you have enjoyed yourself and learned a little, and you’ve left a little something for the next person, i.e., experience. That’s probably the “better” bit. I copied it direct from his website, so I know it’s the real thing. ---

Not only do I pick them up and dispose of them properly, I try to look around for a few that someone else left behind, and dispose of them too. Hey, this is my environment, I have an interest in making it a bit better. ---
