Odd, I was wondering this same question last night while watching the football game, if you substitute HDTV in there. Anybody care to speculate on that?

If you’re talking about ways to encode TV signals you’re not asking the same, or even a similar question. There are dozens of ways to improve TV, up to 3D and holographic, but they’ll either be sent using analog or digital methods.
